Nature+ Coalition launches at Sciences Po: 'The Road to COP 30'
The Nature+ Coalition, the European voice for high-integrity Nature-based Solutions, was launched on 28 October 2025 at Sciences Po Paris, ahead of COP30.
On 28 October 2025, the Nature+ Coalition was officially launched at Sciences Po in Paris during The Road to COP 30: Private Sector Mobilization for Climate Action, an evening dedicated to rallying business and climate leaders ahead of the COP30 summit in Belém.
A unified voice for high-integrity Nature-based Solutions
The launch slot opened with Mathilde Mignot (Director of Nature-based Solutions, SE Advisory Services) and Stéphane Hallaire (Founder and President of Reforest'Action, President of the Nature+ Coalition) presenting the coalition's mission: bringing together project developers, companies and stakeholders behind a unified voice for high-integrity Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in European and international policy and carbon market discussions.
Four founding members across the carbon market value chain
The launch marked the first public moment for a coalition that gathers Reforest'Action, SE Advisory Services, Stock CO2 and Evolution Markets: the field operators, project developers, advisors and market intermediaries that shape the voluntary carbon market. Meet them on the members page.
What the coalition has done since
Since the launch, the coalition has formalised working groups on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, the EU Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming (CRCF) certification framework, the EU 2040 climate target and high-integrity standards, and submitted its first positions to international and European consultations:
- Response to the SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard v2.0 consultation
- Response to the CRCF consultation on the afforestation methodology
- France's vision for an effective voluntary carbon market at COP30
